    Ben Bisogno | Principle Celebrant

Founder & Certified Funeral Celebrant (National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA))

Ben Bisogno is a certified funeral celebrant and founder dedicated to reimagining how we honor life and process loss. His work is shaped by hands-on experience across the full arc of death care—from the intimate preparation of the deceased to the legal and emotional realities families face afterward.

He first encountered the world of funeral service in Tokyo, working in an embalming facility and funeral home under Robert Hoey, a pioneering funeral director and entrepreneur. There, Ben served as a driver and translator, assisting in the dressing and preparation of the deceased and witnessing firsthand the care, dignity, and ritual involved in honoring a life.

He later worked at an estate law firm in Manhattan, where he supported families navigating the complex legal and emotional terrain following a death. Now a law student, Ben brings a rare, holistic perspective to his role as a celebrant—combining compassion, cultural sensitivity, and practical insight to help families create meaningful, personalized ceremonies.
